About Your Trainer
My passion in life is helping people, and I express that through personal training. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a client achieve their first chin-up, fit into their favorite jeans again, or cross the finish line of a 5K. Fitness isn’t just about physical transformation—it’s about building strength, confidence, and a better quality of life.
My journey began with a personal transformation—losing 75 pounds by improving my dietary habits, refining my training, and perfecting my form. That process sparked my passion for personal training, and I’ve since worked at world-renowned gyms, taught athletic courses abroad at Braunschweig University in Germany, and trained clients at Google after moving to California.
In December 2022, I earned my Master’s in Kinesiology from SFSU, and I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education, certifications, and research. My goal is to help people become better human beings—not just in the gym, but in their daily lives—by improving flexibility, longevity, and overall strength, while providing science-backed methods for long-term success.
What is 40X0?
4-0-X-0 is a tempo prescription in strength training designed to maximize muscle growth, control, and performance by manipulating the speed of each phase of a lift. Here's what makes it effective:
4-second eccentric (lowering) phase increases time under tension for greater hypertrophy and strength.
Builds control, stability, and reinforces the mind-muscle connection.
Strengthens muscles in their lengthened position, supporting injury prevention.
"X" = Intended Maximum Concentric Acceleration (IMCA): lift explosively while maintaining control.
Enhances power development and trains muscles to produce maximum force quickly.
Supports both aesthetic goals and athletic performance.
